The 2022 Budget Roadshow is going virtual (with phone-in option as well) this year with meetings scheduled on:

  • Wednesday, March 31, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 7, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 21, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Anyone participating by phone will need to register to speak/share an idea/comment since they aren’t able to use the virtual “raise hand” feature in the meeting. By registering, we can call on them to unmute to share their idea. Registration is not required if you're attending by phone but won't be speaking/sharing an idea.

We will be asking participants to restrict their comments/ideas to subjects related to the City's 2022 Budget. The idea of the Budget Roadshow is to hear ideas/priorities from the community - we're asking people to send questions or contact the City outside of the meeting to save the meeting for hearing ideas/priorities from the community.

If you are planning to attend one of the Budget Roadshow sessions and choose to attend by phone instead of using the online option, please fill out this registration form if you plan to share an idea during the meeting.

If you choose not to register and you would like to share an idea (maybe an idea comes to you during the meeting and you haven't registered), you can send your idea to communications@peterborough.ca. Alternatively, you can contact a Council member by phone or by email.

While it’s not the casual drop-in sessions that have become a hallmark of the annual Budget Roadshow, we’re all trying to pivot with the current situation.
